What you'd do

This position is located at the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Human Resources Office, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major duties

Performs a wide variety of technical support, focused primarily in the areas of recruitment and staffing. Coordinates with management officials to recruit for position vacancies, creates and posts vacancy announcements. Rates resumes for qualifications, hiring preference/priority criteria and other job-related criteria; refers qualified candidates to management for consideration. Responds to applicant and management inquiries on procedures such as application procedures, application statuses, criteria used in qualifications decisions.

What you need to qualify

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: NF-02 (Developmental) - Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems. The experience and ability listed above must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. NF-03 1. Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment functions, such as posting vacancy announcements and rating applicants for qualifications and eligibility. 2. Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.) 3. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems. The experience and ability listed above must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
