What you'd do

You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS/APPSW) in the Weapon Systems Management Center of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.

Major duties

You will apply your expertise in Cloud Based, Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software information technologies to create or improve automation of the Command's business processes and procedures. You will serve as a specialist responsible for planning, coordination, assistance with implementation, analysis, monitoring and prioritization of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for Marine Corps Logisitics Command (MARCORLOGCOM). You will serve as functional expert on related program/project management issues and the coordination of proposals and action plans with stakeholders. You will develop plans and milestones to complete complex RPA management and business projects along with monitoring and reviewing progress. You will conduct research and documents trends for purposes of reporting and providing RPA summaries for all levels of MARCORLOGCOM leadership. You will audit requirements for Information Technology (IT) cloud-based solutions, agency policies and procedures for specific IT functions such as security or systems development You will modify IT plans and policies to respond to changes in the organization's business requirements and processes or changes in legislation or regulatory requirements. You will provide technical guidance in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining solutions or applications with COTS software. You will develop automation scripts, Robotic Process solutions, or recommendations of alternatives for complex manual data entry tasks associated with business processes. You will evaluate and recommend the purchase of software programs that partially match technical specifications, mody code, test functionality, coordinate installation and implementation, and maintain customizations across new releases.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience in the private or public sector providing Information Technology (IT) Systems Analysis (SYSANALYSIS) and Applications Software (APPSW) support (e.g., web development, software lifecycle) to identify and implement improvements in effectiveness and efficiency (e.g., web application security and best practices). Examples of Qualifying Experience may include: described knowledge of the government's Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), knowledge of Oracle Database and/or WebLogic Application Server, knowledge of Bootstrap framework, utilizing languages/techniques (i.e., Java, SQL/PLSQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, XML, JSON, AJAX, JSP/JSTL).
