What you'd do

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS/OA) in the Civilian Benefits Center of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS. Major duties

You will perform clerical work in support of the Federal civilian employee benefits programs. You will process documents and assign actions. You will prepare reports, maintain personnel and organizational records. You will distribute incoming/outgoing mail based on workload logs. You will retrieve files and documents, and maintain suspense records in accordance with office filing procedures.

What you need to qualify

GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing clerical or administrative support through the application of HR regulations and procedures to include providing customer service and maintaining records utilizing an automated system in support of a benefits program. GS-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
