LEAD INDUSTRIAL SECURITY OFFICER
What you'd do
You will serve as a LEAD INDUSTRIAL SECURITY OFFICER in the SECURITY DIVISION, PHYSICAL AND INDUSTRIAL SECURITY BRANCH of PSNS and IMF.
Major duties
You will be responsible for administering security requirements and classification guidance for classified contracts. You will serve as a Qualified Security Contracting Officer. You will serve as a subject matter expert and facilitator or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives. You will develop plans and coordinate and establish priorities of the Industrial Security Program. You will identify and develop training needs of subordinates and arrange for development and training. You will provide guidance, assistance, and oversight to the Industrial Security Program. You will validate classification guidance, reviews and signs the DD-254 for classified contracts. You will verify facility clearance and safeguards capability prior to release of classified information.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating, reviewing, and approving classified contracts in order to establish contractor security criteria and eligibility to access classified information and restricted data to support industrial security programs.
