What you'd do

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the OPTAR Accounting Division of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT. Pay range FOR GS-11: $77,964 - $101,359 FOR GS-09: $64,438 - $83,774

Major duties

You will assist in the performance of functions such as: formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; review and evaluate budget requests, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will provide information about, and interprets standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds.

What you need to qualify

FOR GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Financial Management tasks to include drafting funding documents and correcting accounting errors utilizing automated systems such as Navy Accounting Systems; using Navy R-Supply systems to interface with Accounting Systems; and processing invoices using a Wide Area Workflow system. FOR GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting senior analysts in performing Financial Management tasks to include drafting funding documents and correcting accounting errors utilizing automated systems such as Navy Accounting Systems; using Navy R-Supply systems to interface with Accounting Systems; and processing invoices using a Wide Area Workflow system.
