PROGRAM MANAGER
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager in the FORD Class Program Office (PMS 378) in the Program Executive Office for Aircraft Carriers (PEO Carriers) at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) of DPAE AIRCRAFT CARRIERS.
Major duties
You will responsible for project-level management required to establish Participating Acquisition Manager (PARM) Management and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Team’s priorities and milestones. You will be responsible for GFE Equipment and PARM management in support of FORD Class New Construction Carriers in coordination and tracking GFE procurements for contractual deliveries, costs and configuration management amongst the class. You will lead in the developing, organizing, analyzing, executing and monitoring of planned requirements at the project level. Practices accountability of project management through the phases of new construction procurement timelines. You will participate in program planning efforts by working with senior program and project managers to assist them in defining GFE/GFI requirements. You will evaluate GFE/GFI documentation and prepares comments and recommendations for changes to meet the needs of the program office and PARM stakeholders. You will review, analyze, interpret, and monitor changes to GFE systems with respect to Cost, schedule and performance. You will assist in managing the overall CVN 79and Follow Ships GFE/GFI Program for the CVN 78 Class. You will align and manage GFE budgets and Contract Documentation. You will manage GFE development and execution plans and coordinates reviews as required. You will develop and manage the Ship Project Directives for new construction carriers. You will interface and align the CVN 78 Class GFE Program with the CVN 78 and CVN 68 Class RCOH Programs through the promotion of teamwork and cooperation. You will define and promulgate program goals and objectives among the SPOCs/PARMs.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band or GS-13 equivalent grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expertise and guidance to support Shipbuilding and Conversion, budgeting, planning, program management, execution, and communications with other functional areas of the program.
