MANAGEMENT ANALYST (Grants Compliance Specialist)

Major duties
As a Management Analyst (Grant Compliance Specialist) you will: Assist with the administration of the full grants life cycle by reviewing and processing award actions, post-award modifications, closeout activities, recipient submissions, and administrative documentation to ensure compliance with Federal regulations, HHS policy, and agency requirements. Conducts analyses of grants, financial, and operational information; reviews budgets, reports, and resource plans; identifies compliance issues and discrepancies; and prepares findings and recommendations that support effective program and resource. Assists in developing program plans, standard operating procedures, guidance documents, and administrative processes that improve efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support effective program administration. Advises Federal staff, grantees, and program officials on administrative and grants management requirements, coordinates activities across organizations, supports special projects, and prepares reports and briefing materials for management.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service performing or ALL of the following: Administering grants throughout the award life cycle in accordance with Federal policies and regulations. Analyzing administrative, financial, or grants management information to support program operations. Reviewing grant-related documents for compliance with applicable policies and requirements. Developing administrative guidance or standard operating procedures to improve program efficiency. OR Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related. OR Have a combination of graduate education or experience that meets 100% of the requirements. Documenting experience: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
