What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST in the Fleet Modernization & Installation Division, Code 42100 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Major duties

You will provide essential technical and project management oversight for C4ISR installations while providing administrative and technical supervision to an interdisciplinary group of employees within their assigned Branch. You will apply knowledge of fundamentals and principles of engineering, computer and network hardware and computer systems architecture and integration in the performance of your duties. You will maintain communication and interaction with Program Manager level customers and sponsors in areas such as installation plans, status and budget to achieve common command goals. You will Develop processes and procedures to provide rapid resolution to ongoing issues as well as provide recommendations for process improvement initiatives for the execution of CONUS/OCONUS shore installation projects. You will establish work objectives and evaluate the work of subordinates; exercise authority as a member of the sub pay pool panel, recommend ratings, awards and promotions IAW with STRL guidelines and requirements.

What you need to qualify

NM-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team and providing technical and project management oversight for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) installations; and applying the fundamentals and principles of engineering, computer and network hardware, computer systems architecture and integration. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. NM-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team and providing technical and project management oversight for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) installations. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
