Major duties
As a Logistics Management Specialist, you will: Coordinate with contracting officers, CORs vendors, and manufactures to provide technical requirements and support compliant efficient purchasing and storage agreements. Respond to requests for information and technician support from federal, state and local stakeholders. Participate in emergency operation exercises and field deployments, executing logistics tasks that may involve rapid procurement support, coordination with contracted transport vendors, and oversight of material movement. Draft, update, and refine logistics plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Planning and overseeing materiel management functions, including acquisition, inventory control, maintenance, and transportation, to support response operations. Coordinating materiel accountability and distribution processes to ensure resources are efficiently deployed during emergency or operational activities. Evaluating and improving materiel management processes to optimize readiness, compliance, and logistical performance during response efforts.
