What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIV LKE SE & ALRE GROUP OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT DIGITAL ENGINEERING DIVISION HEAD NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Major duties

You will plan work and prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommend official performance ratings. You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04/GS-13/14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Strategic Leadership & Requirements Development: Experience providing leadership and management for a multi-disciplinary technical division, including translating overarching leadership expectations into actionable division requirements and strategic goals. This includes overseeing functions such as cybersecurity, data and applications, and digital infrastructure to support enterprise-level digital engineering and transformation. 2. Resource & Personnel Management: Experience managing organizational resources, including overseeing division budgets, executing personnel alignment, and allocating workforce capabilities to ensure efficient execution of project requirements and strategic objectives. 3. Overseeing Cybersecurity Programs: Experience with independent system assessment and authorization support, including navigating Risk Management Framework (RMF) and CYBERSAFE programs. Familiarity with developing and deploying new cyber toolsets, protection mechanisms, and analytics. 4. Managing Data and Application Portfolios: Experience providing resources and processes for enterprise business functions. This includes the development and maintenance of digital tools, promotion of common toolsets, and leveraging commercial and government tools to achieve cost savings and data commonality. 5. Directing Digital Infrastructure: Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, including RDT&E computing environments, network services, and IT system support. This involves interfacing with various stakeholders such as Base operations, program offices, and other commands to ensure an efficient and effective infrastructure. 6. Program and Stakeholder Management: Experience serving as a primary point of contact for a business unit, interfacing with sponsors, headquarters, and contractors. This includes developing plans and presenting on project status, technical challenges, and scheduling to key stakeholders..
