This position is located at Road Runner Lanes Bowling Center, White Sands Missile Range, NM. The selected candidate will receive a $1000 bonus after successful completion of the first year of employment and an additional $1000 bonus after successful completion of the second year of employment.
Major duties
Manages the day-to-day operations of Roadrunner Lanes Bowling Center which includes a 10 lane center, a bar, and food service. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit-generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. Prepares financial and operational briefings as required. Oversees the operations of a variety of ancillary departments, and recreational activities i.e. snack bar, billiards, catering services, bingo. Monitors the procurement of all supplies, equipment, and retail items for the activity. Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups and other agencies. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
What you need to qualify
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Minimum of three years experience in bowling center management. 2. A two-year associates' degree in business related field may substitute for one year of experience. 3. A four-year bachelor's degree in business related field may substitute for two years. The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application. Highly Preferred - Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly preferred criteria. Minimum of 1 year experience in managing or directing the activities of the type of business (i.e.; bowling alley, family entertainment center) to be managed. Minimum of 2 years' experience in food and beverage operations and ServSafe certified. Applicants that meet the Best Qualified criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Best Qualified list.
