What you'd do

This position is located at any facility within the Community Recreation Division on Fort Bragg, NC Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Work Schedule Flexible position - Minimum workweek of 0-40 hours and not eligible for benefits. Regular Part-Time position - Minimum workweek of 20 hours and eligible for benefits. Regular Full-Time position - Minimum workweek of 40 hours and eligible for benefits. Army NAF Pay setting rules apply to this vacancy

Major duties

Perform heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more. Operate heavy powered equipment performing tasks that require prior work experience and training. Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools. Breaks up concrete, mixes and pours concrete and asphalt. Resets nails, replaces hardware, relocate playgrounds, flowerbeds and portable structures. Such tasks include ground maintenance on grades and slopes, digging ditches and trenches, washing buildings using high pressure sprayers, operating tillers to prepare lawns for sod and bedding plants, and cutting trees using axes or chain saws.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Six (6) months of laboring experience required. Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions, and completing assigned tasks.
