About the Position: Serves as the supervisor over the Range Operations Maintenance section at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a TERM position not to exceed 2 years. Major duties

Supervises the Range Operation Maintenance section with full responsibility over the operation involving approximately six subordinate workers. Works under the direction of the Supervisory Range Planner who provides general instructions, standard procedures, overall priorities and policies, and relies on the incumbent to control work operations and accomplish an adequate quantity and quality of work. Coordinates with outside agencies for similar related work functions. Informs supervisor of the need to revise work schedules and re-estimate labor and other resources. Determines equipment, supplies, and maintenance required. Assures that material is ordered and delivered to work sites so as not to delay work.

The ability to perform common duties which include: Planning work schedules for subordinate employees with supervisory input; Reviewing work in progress, and resolves any problems related to the work; and Planning current and future budget requests with supervisory assistance. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
