EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPCIEALIST of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.
Major duties
You will provide technical, analytical, and administrative support, to develop and maintain Region and installation-level EM plans. You will participate in the development of exercise scenarios, objectives, and Master Scenario Events List. You will develop metrics to assess operational readiness of installations. You will provide expertise and support to Emergency Relocation Group during the Continuity of Operations at alternate sites when required.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing and preparing emergency management assessments, policies, plans, and procedures. Experience assessing, inspecting, and evaluating emergency management processes. Experience with Incident Command Systems and how it used within Navy emergency management systems. Experience operating various computer operating systems (ex: Windows and Macintosh). Experience in project management specifically in emergency management.
