What you'd do
This position is located at: Golf - Fort Polk, LA. This vacancy is in conjunction with the FMWR Job Fair on Wed, 07/29/26. Walk-ins will be accepted 9-11 am, interviews will be conducted 11-1 pm. The event will be held at the ACS Building #920 (920 Bell Richard Ave.) Applicants who attend this event will be given priority consideration. Major duties
Assists in the maintenance and repair of building interiors. Patches and paints walls, replaces faucet washers, light bulbs and fuses. Assists in the maintenance and repair of building exteriors. Prepares surfaces for painting by applying by applying sealing compounds and primers. Finishes rough edges, smoothing them with file, emery cloth and sandpaper. Assists in the maintenance and repair of the grounds. Cuts grass, plants, trims hedges, trees and shrubbery. Dispose of trash. The incumbent may be required to operate a half ton and up to a one ton motor vehicle to and from worksite to transport material and personnel. If required to operate a motor vehicle, prepares trip tickets, performs driver's daily maintenance and reports any major repairs needed to supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned.
