SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT AND PLACEMENT)
What you'd do

Major duties
You will be able to supervise technical/administrative staff operations and manage programs. You will be able to analyze, evaluate and access the organization's staffing requirements and recommend solutions and strategies to accomplish mission goals and objectives. You will be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to audiences at various echelons within and outside the organization. You will have expert knowledge of and skill in applying principles, practices, and techniques in recruitment and placement to sufficiently provide expert authoritative advice to managers and supervisors in order to analyze and resolve issues. You will serve as a recognized expert by other senior HR staff and program managers and develop appropriate interventions for management on significant recruitment and placement issues and concerns.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band or GS-13 grade level equivalent in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience and skill in applying, a wide range of advanced Recruitment and Placement principles, concepts, and practices, as well as seasoned consultative skills sufficient to: provide management consultative service involving the recruitment and placement function to perform a key role in rendering expert advisory service and/or authoritative policy interpretations on highly complex agency-wide or equivalent issues (e.g., AcqDemo-related reengineered and improved recruitment and placement HR processes). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
