What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the BUSINESS & FINANCIAL MGMT-PAC 80R10 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Major duties

You will serve as principle business and financial advisor to the respective Division and Department Heads supported by this BFM Division. You will manage, coach, mentor, supervise and technically lead a team of 1.2 competency financial personnel in a Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) environment. You will participate in business and financial reviews that measure performance against plans, objectives, resources and expenditures and make recommendations based on analysis and evaluations of financial data. You will assess the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organization and implements business and financial policies and procedures in the development, coordination, and management of Sponsor and Center data calls.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting and implementing financial policy and procedures; and A-11 Budget formulation, execution, analysis, forecasting, procurement, and workforce planning in Navy Working Capital Fund environment; and resolving complex financial management issues and advising leadership on financial planning and resource allocation; and developing and presenting financial reports and briefings for senior leaders.
