LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Major duties
You will identify current/forecasted barriers to organizational objectives within the supply chain. You will be expected to innovatively produce solutions for problems of varying complexity and develop multiple courses of action to ensure mission success. You will develop and conduct briefs for leadership in various forums on the current state of measures enacted to eliminate or mitigate any issues.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Understanding of inventory management and lifecycle logistic support; 2) Capable of utilizing software and data management tools to gain a holistic view of the fleet support environment; 3) Possess keen communication skills to successfully coordinate with internal and external partners across multiple organizations; 4) Facilitating adequate stocking levels and timely order fulfillment for high-priority projects.
