About the Position: This position is located in Resource Management Logistics at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma Washington.
Major duties
Provide daily guidance and training to lower graded materials handlers Perform receiving functions for medical items Verify accuracy of quantities, stock numbers unit of issue and assures items are not damaged. Receive MROs for issue of stocked items, breaks down by customer and processes according to established priorities Perform shipping and packing functions Responsible for accountability of controlled substances Operate a motor vehicle of less than one ton capacity

Frequently lifts and carries objects weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally handles items weighing up to 100 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS - Work is performed inside warehouses, bin rooms, in open storage areas, and on receiving and shipping docks. The areas may be cold, drafty, damp and hot. Injury is possible from falling or dropped stock. Incumbent is subject to cuts, bruises) and lacerations.
