ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the ENTERPRISE AGREEMENTS TEAM, CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Major duties
You will will work on sourcing software with a particular focus on improving the way commercial software, hardware and services are acquired across the enterprise. You will be a primary participant in strategic planning, development, and implementation teams. You will be responsible for analyzing acquisition data, performing market research, identifying business process improvements to help further reduce total cost of ownership and work with integrated product teams on acquisition strategies. You will be responsible for developing acquisition plans, source selection plans, formal solicitations; business clearance memorandums and performing cost and price analysis, as well as cost realism analysis. You will provide guidance to requirements personnel on acquisition strategies and acquisition related documents.
What you need to qualify
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing support and management in developing acquisition plans, source selection plans, formal solicitations; business clearance memorandums and performing cost & price analysis, as well as cost realism analysis.
