You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & CYBER SECURITY OFFICE, CODE 109 of PSNS and IMF. Major duties
You will serve as a Senior Information Technology Specialist (Customer Support) and a technical expert in a mobile device and telecommunications-related equipment team. You will manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of mobile devices within the agency ensuring compliance with security protocols and policies. You will manage and administer software updates and patch management for mobile devices. You will perform research, evaluations, and provide feedback on problematic trends and patterns in customer support requirements. You will open, monitor status, and close trouble tickets. Adds pertinent information into the trouble ticket database to include all steps leading to resolution.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, or improving communications systems, procedures, and requirements that demonstrate knowledge of current developments and trends in communications concepts and technology.
