As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will provide oversight and guidance to staff analyzing substantive mission-oriented programs, operations, and strategic planning, and use your skills to improve the organization's performance.
Major duties
Direct the activities of expert staff responsible for supporting complex programs, policies, and operations of the FDNS Criminal Investigative Division. Facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to advance solutions, ensure effective resource management, and implement process improvements in compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies. Monitor and evaluate systems, workflows, and processes; recommend changes to practices or policies as needed and coordinate liaison activities. Oversee reporting and analyze complex data to provide actionable insights to leadership. Provide strategic guidance to staff and leadership on core business functions, operational activities, process improvement, project performance, resource allocation, employee development, and technical problem-solving. Perform administrative and human resource management functions and develop work improvement plans, provide advice and counsel to personnel, and provide periodic evaluations of employee performance.

YOU WILL REPORT TO A USCIS BUILDING IN LEES SUMMIT, MO WHILE THE NEW FACILITY IS BEING CONSTRUCTED. The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/07/2026. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/07/2026. Application Limit: This vacancy is limited to the first 25 applications received. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Advising leadership on long-range planning and organizational priorities to support mission objectives; Analyzing data to make recommendations on criminal investigative programs to include producing reports, analyses, communications, training, or system recommendations; Providing technical oversight to staff who are responsible for conducting program and operational analyses; and Creating and implementing policy or procedural improvements to enhance organizational performance.
