What you'd do
About the Position: Manages programs and projects under the Branch Chief, ensuring work meets laws, regulations, and agency policies. Advises leadership on key issues and oversees engineering projects independently. Performance is based on successfully achieving program goals.
Major duties
Manages and oversees all programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Leads and supervises the section, assigning work, providing guidance, and supporting staff development and performance. Serves as the main point of contact for customers and stakeholders, coordinating project requirements and resolving issues. Develops and implements program and project plans, including schedules, budgets, and strategies to achieve goals. Reviews project progress, identifies problems, and takes action to keep projects on track with objectives.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: leading design and/or construction projects to include project scope, budget, and scheduling. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
