SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Management Analyst in the FLT PERSONNEL RESOURCES & PRGMS BR, FLT PERS DEVELOPMENT & ALLOCATION DIV of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Major duties
You will serve as a subject matter expert providing expert advice to higher officials within USFF for policies, guidance, and specific procedures relative to manpower execution, programming actions, and organizational alignments. You will initiate, review, and/or forward to OPNAV request to change military and civilian manpower billets to include both peacetime and mobilization requirements. You will perform studies and analysis on decisions affecting military and civilian end strength, evaluating impact of decision within stated SECNAV and OPNAV policies. You will monitor the Navy's Future Year defense Plan (FYDP), ensuring military end strength is correctly allocated to the correct funding category.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: -Experience leading subordinate analysts in the development, execution, and implementation of organizational alignments and manpower changes resulting in fiscally balanced manpower -Experience utilizing the Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS) and UIC Management System (UMS) -Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, EXCEL and PowerPoint to build effective communication to leadership -Experience collaborating with external stakeholders higher and lower level echelons -Experience supervising civilian personnel to include performance and productivity management Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
