What you'd do

You will serve as the Strategic Planning Officer in the Undersea Weapons Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Major duties

You will provide leadership, manage and oversee the strategic planning process, including development of the Department's strategic, infrastructure, and business plans. You will coordinate with the department technology officer ensuring investment programs are aligned with the Department's mission, vision and principles. You will collaborate with the Undersea Weapons Program Office, NAVSEA headquarters, Warfare Centers and across Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport providing input and content toward the Undersea Weapons Strategic Plan for the NAVSEA Enterprise. You will manage and oversee the strategic development and assessment of the Department's performance management processes, including health and metrics to ensure workforce shaping, organizational infrastructure, and resource health are aligned.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13/14 grade level or NT-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing strategic planning and project management to include planning, implementing, and executing projects and programs, and implementation of strategic initiatives in alignment with higher level strategic guidance (i.e., Command, NAVSEA, DON, DoW, etc.).
