What you'd do

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FLDSUPPACT.

Major duties

You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will review and evaluate budget requestions, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices.

What you need to qualify

GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Serving as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management, policy and procedures within the organization; 2) Directing and/or performing continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization; 3) Preparing briefs for senior managers on program execution and providing recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Performing or advising on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration; 2) Analyzing and appraising the major operating and support programs within the organization; 3) Recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.
