HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY)
What you'd do
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the OFFICERS PROGRAM DEPARTMENT of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT SAN FRAN.
Major duties
You will be responsible for scheduling, administering, scoring and transmitting officer applicant testes to the appropriate commands. You will ensure officer applicants meet basic eligibility and program authorization requirements for specific programs within accordance with current regulations, policies and procedures. You will interview personnel to obtain data and additional information as needed to complete records or to correct discrepancies. You will prepare related correspondence, reports, or other documents required for appropriate signature. You will maintain liaison with other offices and activities both inside and outside the recruiting organization.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of military policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain military personnel service records; 2) Researching information in military records and databases in order to respond to inquiries regarding military human resources issues; 3) Utilizing automated systems to create and maintain military records; AND 4) Providing customer service, training, or technical guidance to military members, applicants, and staff regarding personnel actions and processing requirements.
