FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the FLT COMPTROLLER, FINANCIAL MGMT of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Major duties
You will perform or advise work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will formulate budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will present and defend budget estimates before authorities. You will review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience researching and correcting problem financial transactions to ensure they are properly recorded in the General Ledger Experience analyzing reports to determine the financial health of the BSO Experience educating groups on financial processes Experience analyzing processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency Experience preparing and delivering briefs to Leadership Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
