What you'd do

You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (Data Management) in the Financial Systems Department, General Fund Business Office Division, Business Intelligence & Technology Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Major duties

You will support the lifecycle of business intelligence and automation solutions and design robust data pipelines and analytics models. You will develop and deliver key reports and metrics to management regarding business performance. You will monitor data refresh schedules, job performance, and active automation scripts to ensure optimal system integrity. You will perform and coordinate end-to-end testing of all business intelligence and automation solutions and serve as a key point of contact for data-related inquiries. You will collaborate with SMEs to analyze business processes, gather requirements, perform deep-dive data analysis, and translate findings into detailed solution specifications for solutions. You will coordinate data-centric projects, track tasks and milestones, support enhancement and defect management, identify process improvements, and foster collaboration across functional and technical teams.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band (DS-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Developing and supporting enterprise business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or automation solutions; (2) Using Structured Query Language (SQL), data-querying, analytics, or comparable technical tools to extract, transform, reconcile, and analyze complex financial or operational data and develop or maintain dashboards, reports, data pipelines, applications, or automated workflows; (3) Gathering business requirements and translating them into technical reporting, analytics, or automation solutions; (4) Testing and validating data, queries, dashboards, reports, pipelines, applications, or automated workflows; and (5) Monitoring production data processes and resolving data quality, refresh, performance, or system defects. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
