GENERAL ENGINEER
What you'd do
You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in C/021, Transformation Program Office of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
Major duties
You will counsel and advise colleagues on unusual and unique technical problems or approaches. You will generate or review technical correspondence to NAVSEA and other Naval technical activities You will participate in technical audits, surveillances and critiques, and leads, coordinates and evaluates the resulting corrective actions. You will identify need for, initiates engineering support for, and assures resolution of problems concerning submarine systems within the cognizance of the Engineering Division.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following as a Professional Engineer with working knowledge of Engineering Technical Authority concepts and principles to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations of repairs, overhauls, and testing of onboard systems.
