Major duties
Manages a large business activity. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups and other agencies. Coordinates functions with community, and military representatives. As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors. Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, develops activity financial plan. Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity.
What you need to qualify

A qualified candidate must possess the following : Minimum Qualification Criteria: Work experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business (i.e.; restaurant, bowling center, golf course) to be managed. To be evaluated as a minimum qualified candidate, your resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualification criteria above. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess ALL of the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified" Highly Qualified Criteria: Possess supervisory experience in catering and conference operations, to include contract management and production planning within the last 5 years. Possess a minimum of four (4) years' experience, background in the Food and Beverage industry, to include two (2) years as a manager within the last five (5) years. Possess two (2) years of demonstrable experience in financial analysis, budget development and execution, food and labor cost management, management and training of employees, and menu/pricing menu development. Possess two (2) years of demonstrable experience in the development and execution in marketing and programming events within the last 5 years. Possess at least (2) years of working in or managing both a catering operation and a quick serve style operation (coffee shop / Grab and go).
