FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the DEPT OF THE NAVY, NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER of NAWCAD Lakehurst.
Major duties
You will interpret funding requirements, financial policy and regulations to provide guidance on fiduciary compliance. You will be responsible for the correct application of Navy ERP for review of procurement requests to ensure technical completeness, business and fiduciary commpliance. You will be responsible for Interpretation and application of policy and guidance as it applies to a Navy Working Capital Fund activity. You will analyze and recommend cost and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's program and administrative operations; and use of funds to support the organization's program and activities.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Extensive Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) experience and expertise in budget formulation, execution, and fiscal compliance. The incumbent is responsible for performing complex financial analysis, reviewing and approving funding documents and financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with fiscal law, regulations, and departmental policies. The position serves as a key control point for validating financial data, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders, and maintaining the integrity of financial information across multiple systems. Responsibilities include monitoring financial execution, supporting budget development activities, and providing recommendations to leadership to support informed decision-making. Through these efforts, the incumbent safeguards fiscal integrity, mitigates financial risk, and ensures the accuracy and reliability of financial operations. .
