What you'd do

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Major duties

You will be responsible for the comprehensive supply support of items within product scope; supply support consists of all management actions, procedures, and techniques. You will participate in design reviews, configuration management, board reviews and provisioning conferences. You will coach and provide direction to IWST members that support product scope understand the goals and missions to those products as well as assist supervisors with communicating assignments. You will maintain program and administrative reference materials and historical documents; provide policies, procedures, directives, and instructions to IWST Team as appropriate.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Participating in all phases of integrated logistics support planning throughout the life cycle of weapon systems. 2) Evaluating alternative supply support strategies relative to funds availability and, if necessary formulating alternative support concepts to achieve supply support objectives. 3) Participating in the formulation, review and justification of procurement and repair budgets for items within product scope. 4) Monitoring and controlling progress to ensure timely and quality delivery of ILS elements inputs. 5) Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions; V-lookup, Pivot Tables, and Chart creation.
