What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Major duties

You will initiate, plan, manage, and direct the application of the IPS management principles, of difficult and complex IPS projects. You will support federal acquisition regulations and Navy contract rules and regulations necessary to execute FMS IPS, RoR, and Order Fulfillment programs, and to formulate policies concerning contracting of associated requirements. You will implement Navy FMS budget policies and procedures sufficient to formulate, execute, and monitor FMS IPS and RoR budgets for assigned FMS Aviation platforms. You will develop and manage FMS IPS requirements and sub-systems and determine how they affect the system for Command-level FMS IPS planning requirements. You will develop problem solving and team building methods and techniques to develop a high performing unit and assist unit members in developing effective solutions.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: The ability to direct complex Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or USN/USMC aviation support through Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) Planning and lifecycle Product Support and Sustainment, including managing Repair of Repairables (RoR) to meet international partner readiness goals. Managing Human Resources by leading, assigning work, and evaluating a team of logistics professionals. Problem Solving capabilities to resolve non-precedented logistics challenges, and the Influencing/Negotiating skills required to defend decisions and build consensus among NAVAIR, foreign customers, and industry stakeholders. Managing program resources, budgets, and operational decisions that directly impact global mission success and regional security.
