About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eglin IT&T (Information, Tickets and Travel) Office. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 96th Force Support Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida. Position is Regular Part-time (RPT) guaranteed 20-34 hours per week and schedule may include weekends and holidays. Major duties

Types of duties include but are not limited to: evaluates existing programs to determine if needs of specific groups are being met. Assists the ITT Director in establishing a tours schedule, in promoting marketing strategies and advertising ITT programs and coordination of program activities with other services/Eglin offices. Responsible for manning the customer service desk within the ITT Office. Provides customer service, answers telephone, and provides information concerning ITT programs and activities. Sells discount tickets to local and regional attractions such as theme parks, professional sporting events, and other recreational activities. Responsible for operating the cash register, collecting payment, making change and issuing receipts. At the end of each shift, closes out the cash register and inventories tickets using a computerized spreadsheet, completes required paperwork and submits to supervisor. Makes daily cash deposits. Opens and closes ITT office. Accountable for ticket inventory and monies received for tickets sold. Performs as tour host as scheduled. Inspects tour buses and ensures they are clean and ready for scheduled tour. Decorates facility to reflect holiday and program themes. Performs other related duties as assigned. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience which provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities equipment, rules and procedures which involved recreational work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. Must have experience using common software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have experience handling cash and use of cash accountability control methods. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Skill in dealing with the public. Prior experience in basic supply techniques is desirable. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
