Qualifications
Bachelor¿s degree in accounting or a related field appropriate to the work of the position and three years of experience in accounting, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Minimum of three years of accounting experience. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in accounting or related field. Knowledge of general fund, revolving, and/or non-appropriated fund accounting principles and procedures. Ability to present complex financial matters to other subject matter experts as well as non-financial personnel. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. Certification such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable. Experience in Oracle Fusion, DAI, and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) in addition to a strong proficiency in Excel is preferred.
