Administrative Assistant

Job Description

As Administrative Assistant, the incumbent provides administrative and clerical assistance to the General Manager (GM) or head of the NABSD department. The incumbent performs secretarial, customer relations and general support duties that support the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the department.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSAs) requirements for this position are as follows: ** Your application must include narratives for each KSA, using specific examples to demonstrate your qualifications and experience. 1. Incumbent must have completed five years of education beyond high school; or have four years of equivalent clerical/administrative/management/planning experience in the retail industry; or 1 year equivalent to a GS-5/NF3 level. Education in Business Administration, or related focus preferred. 2. Incumbent must be proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in Point of Sale (POS), Excel, InDesign, Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop is preferred. 3. Incumbent must have customer service experience, operating in a professional and courteous manner. 4. Incumbent must have experience with data entry, maintaining records, merchandise receiving, and/or logistics. Experience within an administrative role is preferred.
