Job Description

This a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This National Guard position is a Permanent WG-6652-10 AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0115000 and is part of the MO 131st Bomb Wing. This is a bargaining position.

Qualifications

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - TSgt (E-6) Minimum Military Grade - A1C (E-3) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education or training which demonstrates the applicant's ability to repair malfunctions of ordnance equipment and components to use sketches, electrical diagrams, technical specifications and engineering drawings in accomplishing their work. Must be skilled in the use of test equipment to make electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic checks. WG-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience in a position engaged in functions such as installation, maintenance, or repair of aircrew egress systems that demonstrate the experience and/or appropriate training, a thorough knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical principles as applied to aircrew egress systems; and of the use and interpretation of blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical publications.
