Job Description

Serves as an Airway Transportation System Specialist within the Automation and Communication Branch at the FAA Academy.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position at the FG/GS 12 (FV-H) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-11 (FV-G) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized Experience includes: Experience with technical support for a multitude of highly complex integrated systems that support the operation of the NAS; Experience providing technical guidance and direction; Experience completing project studies and cost estimates to include project manpower, material requirements, equipment utilization, and updated completion schedules. AND Physical Requirements: You must be able to perform efficiently the essential functions of the position without hazard to yourself or others. Selectee must pass a pre-employment physical prior to appointment. Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their Work History.
