Job Description
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Office of Foreign Assets Control. As a Assistant Director - Policy, you will be responsible for implementing and administering U.S. sanctions programs, ensuring that the sanctions programs are developed, interpreted, and implemented in a manner consistent with pertinent legislation and regulations, foreign policy, national security, and U.S., Treasury, and OFAC strategic objectives.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Specialized Experience for the 15 level: To be qualified for this position at the GS-15 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level. This experience is defined as: - Managing the formulation, interpretation, and implementation of U.S. economic sanctions (as administered by Treasury/OFAC) policy papers, guidance, and related memoranda; - Handling multiple projects for major office or program issues of broad impact; AND - Performing work that involves analyses, comprehensive program reviews, and development of cross-agency activities.
