Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. Qualification Requirements: 1. Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to carry-out a sports program that included a variety and team sports and guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities and teaching the techniques sports. 2. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. 3. Highly Desirable: Candidates who possess a combination of education (an undergraduate in related fields such as physical education and work experience as identified above. Possession of a nationally identified Basic Fitness Trainer Certification Highly Preferred - Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly preferred criteria. 1. Minimum of 1 year experience with instructing fitness classes preferred 2. Candidate will possess a nationally identified Basic Fitness Trainer Certification such as NSCA, NASM, ACE, NETA, or USAW or other nationally identified certifications for fitness instruction/trainer professionals. Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list.
