Job Description
This position is located at Fort Jackson, SC. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: CYS Regular and FLEX employees (working a minimum of 15 hours) First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: A bachelor's degree or higher which included a major course of study or at least 24 semester hours in physical education, OR All of the following equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level: 1. Experience in the planning, supervision, administration, or delivery of a sports or physical education program which included a variety of individual and team sports. 2. Experience in providing skills development and teaching the techniques of various sports. 3. Experience coaching multiple sports or providing coaches with sports-specific training in coaching techniques and required skills/fundamentals. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Recommended highly-qualifying: In addition to meeting one of the requirements above, highly qualified candidates will possess experience in the planning, evaluation, or delivery of a sports program or curriculum specifically for children or youth; or at least 12 semester hours in college coursework directly related to children or youth (i.e., PE for children, motor skills development, childhood development, early/elementary/secondary education, health/nutrition for children, child/adolescent psychology, etc.).
