Job Description

This position is located at West Point Club. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Initial Cut-Off Date: Wednesday, December 3, 2025 (Applications must be received by 11:59 PM EST). Applications received by the Initial Cut-Off Date will be reviewed and possibly referred to the Selecting Official PRIOR to the Closing Date of this Vacancy Announcement. Subsequent referrals to the Hiring Manager will occur every two weeks thereafter based on management's need to fill positions.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. 2. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. 3. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. 4. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. It is recommended the above abilities be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. Skill and Knowledge: Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Applies arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Prior experience working as a full-service bartender in a restaurant and/or catering facility. The experience must be reflected on your resume at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.
