Job Description

This position is located at the Peak but may fill other vacancies in the Business Recreation Division. This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resilience and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will NOT be paid.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: ability to mix drinks using alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, AND ability to perform simple arithmetic to calculate bills and make change, AND ability to recognize and handle intoxicated patrons, AND ability to recognize shortages of supplies and replace them as necessary, AND ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff, AND meet state/local age (18) requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at time of appointment (projected appointment date is 11/6/2025 or later), AND ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
