Job Description

This position is located at the Lone Star Conference Center within Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation. As a clerk, you'll support military and community events in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. With flexible event spaces, bar services, and the attached Samuel Adams Brewhouse, this venue offers a dynamic setting where your attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service can shine. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible clerical experience, which involved the use of calculations and personal computers to include Microsoft Office. Ability to type 40WPM. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Demonstrates the ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks during peak service times, special events, or high volume operations. Has previously worked in catering environments or beverage service settings, and are you familiar with coordinating event operations and delivering high-quality guest service. Posses the ability to apply a comprehensive understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, proper food preparation techniques, storage procedures, and temperature control requirements. In possession of a valid ServSafe certification, indicating formal training in food safety and sanitation best practices. Familiar with catering management platforms such as Caterease, including scheduling, menu planning, and client coordination functionalities. Has the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery and positive guest experiences.
