Job Description
Serves as a Contract Specialist in the Contracting Department of the Hale Koa Hotel. 2025 Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) for Honolulu, HI is 8.64%. This position will remain open until filled. Lists will be pulled at the request of the hiring manager. Local candidates will be reviewed first as PCS is not authorized. If determined that area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities (KSAs) as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Extensive experience in applying acquisition laws, contract principles, statues, Executive Orders, regulations and/or procedures applicable to pre-award and post award actions. 2. Experience in procuring and administering contracts for a wide variety of supplies, services, and construction. 3. Experience demonstrating the ability to lead, teach, and mentor others. 4. Must have experience creating and delivering formal written and oral presentations to various levels (i.e., writing complex acquisition plans, statements of work, solicitations, contracts and supporting documentation; conducting proposal conferences, site visits, evaluation panels, and debriefings). In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Preferred candidates will possess a bachelor's degree which included a minimum of 24 semester hours of business courses, Certified Professional Contracts Manager, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Professional Certification in contracting or other applicable professional certification.
