Job Description
You will serve as a GG-0260-13 Equal Employment Specialist at NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY in Suitland, MD. As an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Counselor, EEO Case Manager, and/or Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator, you will interpret federal EEO laws, policies, and regulations to recommend program objectives and implement innovative programs to achieve a harmonious, diverse, and balanced environment throughout the Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA) workforce.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1. Recommend program objectives and implement innovative programs to achieve a harmonious, diverse, and balanced environment throughout the workforce. 2. Implement instruction for administration of a discrimination process for individual/class complaints using knowledge of laws and federal regulations. 3. Develop and implement Reasonable Accommodation (RA) plans as the RA Coordinator and provide guidance in the discrimination complaint process. 4. Identify practices that are barriers to equal employment opportunity (EEO) to recommend policy and guidance for all EEO program functional assignments. 5. Develop, analyze, and advise on statistical data related to the civilian workforce, special interest groups, minorities, women, and individuals with disabilities.
