Job Description
This position is located in the Community Recreation Branch, Recreation Division, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department, Naval Station Great Lakes.
Qualifications
Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: Experience in repairs of a wide variety of equipment. Must have knowledge in boat handling, use of cutting equipment, bike repairs, and engine repairs. Must have a license to operate a 6K forklift. Must be organized and capable of establishing regular cycle for equipment preventative maintenance. Must be able to learn MWR policies, rules, and regulations, involving the Community Recreation program. Must have ability to communicate orally and in writing. Successful completion of a national Agency check is required. Employee is required to have a valid state drivers' license. Position may require irregular working hours. Obtain Emergency First Responder or CPR Certification, Food Handlers, and C.A.R.E. training where applicable within the first 90 days of employment.
