Job Description
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number D2514P01 and is part of the 174TH ATKW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. This vacancy is for two positions.
Qualifications
Military Grades: Enlisted GENERAL EXPERIENCE: In addition to OPM general experience, evaluate applicant's knowledge, skills, and abilities for: - Skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; - Skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material; - Skill in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; - Ability to prepare reports and presentation formats. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-7: 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Experience or working knowledge of any of the following: the Defense Joint Military Pay Systems (DJMS) both active and reserve, Defense Travel System (DTS), MyPay, Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS), Defense Enterprise and Accounting Management System (DEAMS), Defense Military Pay Office System (DMO), Automated Business Services System (ABSS), Air National Guard Reserve Orders Writing System (AROWS), Automated Time and Attendance Production System (ATAAPS), General Accounting Finance System (GAFS), Reserve Travel System (RTS), Defense Transaction Interface Module Systems (DTIMS), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Purchase Card Online System (PCOLS) and other financial systems as applicable. Must have experience in preparing reports and in organizing and delivering briefings to managers to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. GS-9: 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Must have experience of Financial Management rules and operating procedures, for example: knowledge of theories, regulations, current/revised guidance, management practices and policies regarding all facets of the financial program in order to provide feasible recommendations/advice to assist management officials in the decision-making process. Experience or knowledge of regulations, principles, higher HQ directives and guidance pertaining to determination of financial requirements using a variety of methods. Must have experience or knowledge of and skill in analytical reasoning and the ability to apply that skill to the identification, analysis and resolution of financial challenges.

You must submit an SF-50(s) that shows permanent career or career conditional tenure to be considered (No award SF-50 will be accepted). Your last Federal performance appraisal plan must reflect a rating of Fully Successful or equivalent.
