Job Description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number T5636P01 and is part of the OH 178 Wing, National Guard. The purpose of this position is plan, coordinate, and perform comprehensive Accounting and Financial Management analysis, decision support and quality reviews, of base level accounting and financial management programs.

Qualifications

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years of progressively responsible experience that demonstrates the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; communicate effectively orally and in writing; skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material; skill in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; and ability to prepare reports and presentation formats. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled; fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. The applicant's educational degree study program or military or civilian academic courses may substitute for some specialized experience.
